My name is Tammy Hayter. I have been happily married for 25 years to my high school sweetheart. We have two sons, Nathan and Stephen. I am an EA in Ms. Houston’s grade 4 class this year. I have worked at Dr Clark since 2017. I love working with my students and helping them achieve their daily goals. In my spare time I enjoy camping, traveling and spending time with my family.
Amanda Hurley has been at Dr. Clark for 15 years working in ECDP, Kindergarten and Grade 1. There have been some challenges over the years, but the reward of watching the students grow and achieve learning experiences is much bigger than any challenge we have faced!! Seeing students happy to come to school is what puts a smile on my face every day!
Kayla Wakeling is with a hard of hearing student in Grade 1 this year in Ms. King's class. She has been part of the Dr. Clark staff since 2015 and is fluent in American Sign Language.
My Name is Wendy Pope. Originally from Newfoundland but have been living in Fort McMurray for 19 and graduated from Composite High. I will be working in ECDP and grade 1 to help support students academic activities, assisting students with physical/medical needs, displaying a friendly, healthy relationship with teachers and peers, helping students with particular needs or helping them with learning difficulties, ensuring each student developing skills to help them reach their goals for the future and more. I also love to help with behavioral and other challenges that students may have and overcome obstacles, as working with children has always been my passion. Knowing that I have helped 1, 2 , or 3 children achieve a goal is the best feeling ever and seeing the excitement on their face make going to work a whole lot easier. My background education is early learning and childcare. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my little fur buddy(dog) and fiance. My hobbies are camping, traveling, scrapbooking and walking my dog. “When you educate one person you can change a life, when you educate many you can change the world”- Shai Reshef

Hello! My name is Colette Farahani and I have been working as an educational assistant with FMPSD for 7 years. This is my 4th year working with Ms. Klath as the Program EA for the Skills Program at Dr. K.A. Clark. My forte lies in literacy and numeracy intervention, and much of my professional development is done through UC Davis (MIND Institute). Before getting my Educational Assistant diploma, I worked in dentistry as a CDA/RDA on Vancouver Island for 23 years in family, special care, pediatric, prosthodontic, and orthodontic dentistry, as well as forensic odontology and maxillofacial surgery (specifically cleft palate). I also trained with Disaster Victim I-DENT at the RCMP Pacific Region Training Centre and with Bureau of Legal Dentistry at U.B.C. In my spare time, I volunteered in missing persons identification and continue to hold a team position with the B.C. Forensic Odontology Response Team. I have been fortunate to work with incredible mentors in my educational career at FMPSD which has enabled me to pursue various professional learning opportunities. Whether in my previous or present career, I have always enjoyed working with and advocating for children. It is a pleasure and honour to work with Ms. Klath and to be a part of the Dr. K.A. Clark team. “All grown-ups were once children... but only few of them remember it.” - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (Le Petit Prince)
