Will provide learning opportunities for all learners in a safe and nurturing environment, where everyone is provided the skills to be a leader and achieve excellence through lifelong learning.
September was quite the adventure. As students, staff, and parents acclimate ourselves to our new multi-layered approach to ensure we return #back2clark safely. Our diligence in increased sanitization of high touch points, enhanced cleaning protocols, sanitizing or hand washing for 20 seconds, sanitizing, socially distancing when possible, limiting assemblies and other mass gatherings, and of course, cohorting classes to limit interactions between students. We follow AHS guidelines to ensure the safety of all of our entire Dino family. We continued to demonstrate active citizenship both locally and nationally:
Terry Fox Walk: walking in cohorts and raising funds for the Terry Fox Cancer Foundation
Superhero Day: Learning how to be hygiene superheroes and Virtual Assembly
Orange Shirt Day: Coming together in a spirit of reconciliation and hope because every child matters recognizing the intergenerational effects of the 100 year legacy of residential schools
We are so excited to head into October and participate in a variety of school activities. Be sure to stay informed by following us @drclarkschool and @drclarkfmpsd across all major social media platforms. Looking back to August 31 - September 3, lets enjoy the excitement and smiles on the first day of school during the staggered entry. Thank you for continuing to support the Dr. K. A. Clark Dinos!
