Elaine Elliott

Elaine Elliott

My name is Elaine Elliott, originally from Newfoundland but have lived in Fort McMurray for the past 15 years. I have been happily married to this guy for 30 years this month (Sept.). Together, we raised 1 daughter, Katelyn (Ms. Torraville) who is also a teacher at Dr. Clark School. I have been an EA for 20 years (5 in NL & 15 in Fort McMurray) with 13 of those years here at Dr. Clark School. I spent a year at Composite High (Cosmetology) & a year at McTavish (Levelled Literacy). I received several awards for ‘Doing What’s Best For Kids’, obtained a TAS Certificate and have thoroughly enjoyed working with kids & teens from ECDP on up to Junior High. My current position is in Grade 3 working with an Autistic student. It is so fulfilling to know you’re playing a part in helping kids achieve their highest potential. It makes my heart happy! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my cats Max & Molly and my family. My hobbies are playing Piano/Guitar, Camping, Kayaking, Sledding & visiting NL before COVID was a thing :) “The beautiful thing about learning is no one can take it away from you” B.B. King
