My name is Miranda King and I am from a small town in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I attended high school at Dalbrae Academy in Mabou, Nova Scotia. After graduating high school, I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree at Mount Saint Vincent University. I moved to Fort McMurray in 2014, where I was an Educational Assistant at Timberlea Public School for a year. In September 2015, I started my Bachelor of Education at Keyano College through the University of Alberta. While completing my Bachelor of Education, I did a 5-week practicum in a Kindergarten Class at Anzac Community School. I also completed at 9-week practicum in a Grade One class at Dr. Clark. Ever since a young girl, I’ve always wanted to become a teacher. I’ve always had a passion for working with young students to help develop them for their future. The 2022-2023 school year will be my 6th year with Dr. Clark. I am excited to be apart of this great community of staff and students, and I look forward to what the future brings for Dr. Clark & our little Dinos!
